This Privacy Policy governs the use of the AirRoom TV website and the AirRoom TV Android application. AirRoom TV operates strictly as a local utility application designed to facilitate AirPlay streaming on compatible Android TV devices.

By accessing this website or installing the application, acceptance of this policy is acknowledged. If any term within this policy is not agreed to, installation and usage of the application and website must be discontinued immediately.

Absolute Zero Data Collection

AirRoom TV is built on a local-first principle. No personal data, tracking identifiers, telemetry, crash logs, IP addresses, or device metrics are collected, stored, or transmitted to any remote servers.

No cloud database, tracking pixel, authentication system, or external analytics SDK is integrated into either the website or the Android application.

Network Architecture and Streaming Security

All casting, mirroring, and audio-video streams rely entirely on standard local-network (LAN/WLAN) communication.

Point-to-Point local transport: Data flows directly from the sender Apple device to the receiver Android TV. Traffic does not route through external internet servers, relays, or proxy networks.
No persistent storage: All audio-video frames and screen updates are decoded and rendered in volatile memory (RAM) and are discarded immediately upon display. No data is stored persistently on disk.

Required Permissions Explained

To establish local connection endpoints, the Android application requests only the minimal necessary permissions from the system manifest:

INTERNET: Enables local socket binding to receive incoming TCP and UDP audio/video payload frames from the sender device.

CHANGE_WIFI_MULTICAST_STATE & ACCESS_WIFI_STATE: Required for Bonjour service registration and multicast lock acquisition, enabling discovery by the sender Apple device.
